Juana J. Bethel

Juana is the Creative Director and Founder of Jali Creatives, LLC—a startup dedicated to telling the stories of small businesses and small nonprofits. She has extensive experience marketing, fundraising and managing nonprofit programs.
Before moving to Miami, she was as a member of the Internal Communications team for the Atlanta Housing Authority. In this position, she worked to implement strategic campaigns designed to boost employee morale during an organizational shift.
From 2007-2012 Juana worked at the University of South Florida in the College of Public Health. During her five years with USF, she successfully marketed the College's Executive and Online Professional MPH programs through recruitment and advising. In addition to supporting both distance learning and executive weekend students, she oversaw the design and development of marketing materials, and represented the College at national conferences.
Juana attended Florida State University, where she majored in Sociology, and minored in Communications. With over a decade of experience in communications, marketing, project management, and fundraising, she infuses her creativity and a passion for helping those in need, into each aspect of her life.
